We've been BUSY!!!

Here goes....Since the last post, Linkin started eating food. He turned 5,6,7,8,and will be 9 months in a couple days! He also has 2 cute teeth.

And Levi FINALLY lost his first tooth.(and the dang tooth fairy forgot but made up for it with the money he got)

Easter morning was great not having to get dressed to go anywhere because of General Conference. We had biscuits and gravy and the Easter Bunny even made it to our house.

The first Friday in April we planned a SUPRISE party for Levi at the bowling ally. It was alot of fun and he was SO suprised! I planned 1 for Malarie when she turned 7 too and decided to just make it a tradition. So now my first born son is 7!!!

In March for Spring break, we headed to the valley. We got some swimming in at the hotels heated pool. Got to visit great grandma and grandpa Sherwood. Went to the zoo and did some shopping. All in great weather that didn't include snow. Oh ya and Dusty broke his hand in March and had it casted for 10 weeks.

Wrestling, wrestling, and more wrestling! Levi has had a good season and improved so much.

Malarie has been busy dancing. She has performed in a few talent shows and recitals and has been to 2 different competitions.

If you look REAL close in these dark pictures, one is of Logan and one is of Levi at swimming lessons.

Then just last week my little Logan Danner turned 3 and we had a fun and windy Buzz party at the park.

Levi just had his end of the year school program. If I can brag just a little, which I can, it's a blog.... He is so much like his mother. You get him in front of people and he LOVES to perform. He was the star of his show. He out danced and out sang everyone. He even has some acting skills! He did so good being "Billy Bob"

In February Dusty and I decided to have a contest to see who could look better for our 10 years coming up in August. All I can say is I am a lucky girl!!! He has put on 16 pounds of lean muscle. Whoo hoo. The only bummer is that we didn't take before and after pictures. Not that I would have blogged them, but both of us wish we would have to compare.

So there it is in a nutshell, our last 5 1/2 months!

Is anybody getting tired of looking and seeing that i still haven't updated????

Well I've decided blogging is alot like working out. It is so hard to get motivated when you have missed for a while. But once you get started again you LOVE it and its addicting. And I always start my workouts full force. So here goes......... ONE, BIG, FAT, BLOG.

Dust started off the year getting this sweet bobcat. He and my dad, Daniel, Daniel's dad, Barton and Phil went to do rabbit roundup and call coyotes. They came back with a badger, fox, a bobcat, and a bunch of rabbits. I know he thought that was aperfect way to start off 2010.

New Years Eve we went to an UGLY Christmas sweater party. SO FUN!!! And man were we UGLY. See for yourself. I won for the girls. I really don't know why. He He Dusty even voted for me! Then there was a couples challenge and there was a three way tie and Dusty and I were one of the couples. So for a HUNDRED BUCKS we had to see which couple(both of us) could find a real worm only using our mouths in whip cream and eat them the fastest. Dusty and I won!!! 8.6 seconds baby. And a hundred bucks richer now I seriously can't believe I did it. I can't even touch worms with my hands.

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. Every year we help someone out. But this year we didn't have the funds like we have had in the past, so we helped people out with our talents. We invited my family to come with us. Even though my mom and dad were the only ones who came, we had a great time. We put on a little program for them full of songs and Malarie also did a ballet dance to Away in a Manger. We loved talking and singing to these people on Christmas Eve. One lady even kept crying and wiping her eyes. It was so hard to keep our eyes dry. They sang along with us on some of the songs and we passed out jingle bells for them to help us on that song. Everyone loved it and it made me realize how lucky I am to have both Dusty and my family.

These next pictures are gifts from Santa. We are so glad Santa made it this year! We weren't sure if he was coming. They had to wait till last to open them. I love their faces. Linkin was satisfied with his lizard to chew on. In the picture with Linkin there is a toilet paper roll with dots boxes, this is what Malarie and Levi made for Dusty and I. They are kinda like binoculars! AWESOME. I LOVE HOMEMADE GIFTS.

Here are our family Christmas pictures 2009. After Christmas morning we headed off to Joseph city to be with Dusty's family for the weekend. I don't know why I never get my camera out there!! But we had a really nice weekend with them and don't get to be all together enough!

These pictures are from Lacey's shower. She is getting ready for baby Nelly. She should be coming anyday!!! I am so excited I get 3 new nieces or nephews this year. Lacey's baby girl, Sophie is pregnant with her 1st, and Dusty's brother and wife are having their 6th. Barton came over afterwards to help us eat the rest of the food. So here is all my siblings but Nathan.

Next, Tis the season for canning! I don't know why but I always get the canning bug when its cold out! We have canned 3 deer. Lots of elk hamburger, 40 pounds of potatoes, pumpkin, and chicken. Alot of work, but I love to see it all stacked up in the storage closet!

It has looked like this alot outside lately. This our backyard.

I am going backwards (if you haven't noticed)Here we are putting up our Christmas tree. Linkin has found his thumb and fingers lately.

On the 16th of Dec. we had a wild day. Malarie had a breakfast in her classroom that I went and helped with. Then Dusty met me and the little boys for Levi's little play in his classroom. All the boys in Levi's class wanted to be Santa so she made the kids tryout. Levi got the part. When I asked him if he was excited, he said "not really, I knew I would get it" SUCH CONFIDENCE!! SO LEVI It was also "eat with your parents day" at both of their schools. Dusty and Logan ate with Levi and Link and I ate with sissy.

Later that day Malarie and I went to her mother-daughter acheivement day party. She had to recite some articles of faith. She now has only 3 to go to have them all memorized. Way to go sis!

So many things to blog about!!

Well I have had all these things to blog about all week but my computer was not cooperating! Once I uploaded all these pictures it was kinda hard to believe all this was from just last weekend.

Dusty, my dad, Barton and Daniel headed out for their hunt in unit 31 on Thursday. Dusty had scouted the area and therefore was "the guide." They all told me he was at least a mile ahead of them the whole time hiking both days. They also informed me he found all the deer for himself, dad, and Daniel. He also gutted the deer and him and Daniel hiked them all out in their packs. What a stud!! So he left with a camera and came back with pictures of Daniel and my dad's deer and none of himself. So I took the picture of all the hunters with their "hunting beards." Anyways it was Daniel's first deer and he made a 500 yard shot! My dad also made a 500 yard shot! And Dusty made a 600 yard shot. Way to go great white hunters! And we have meat in the freezer (and canned)So I think they had a really good time but Dusty informed me they killed too fast cause he didn't get ENOUGH hunting in. WOW!!! I guess it is like shopping.... it is NEVER enough.

So while he was gone, me and the kids left for the valley on Friday. We took Lacey and Dallan with us.(Of course Nelly too, she is attached so she didn't have a choice)he he Can you believe she is 7 months pregnant?? Malarie and I did a breast cancer walk on Saturday morning in Tempe. We walked 5 miles in honor of Ms. Bev, who passed away in January. It was a nice event to be apart of and we even got interviewed. The picture of me and my friends at the walk is so funny. They both are 7 months pregnant and due on the same day. We stayed at Sophie's and all went to dinner that night. The lighting was so bad and my flash is broken so the picture is bad but I included it anyway. The next afternoon we took all the kids to Chuckie Cheese for some lunch and fun before we headed home. It was a fun weekend with my sisters. We don't get to see enough of each other!

Dusty and I ended up both getting home Saturday night. We have 9:00 church on Sundays so after church my mom was there when we got home. I had set up a little get away for Dusty and I since Monday was our anniversary. We left to Greer lodge and had a good time. It was beautiful. Our cabin was awesome too. But don't mind my hair cause I forgot everything for it! At least I remembered a hat. He gave me some really sweet gifts and cards and roses. One of the cards was a gift card to my FAVORITE.... red lobster. He told me it was good for a date night in Flag. Well I decided to use it that night, afterall it was the last night for shrimpfest!! So we got ready at home and headed to flagstaff for dinner and shopping. We had a great anniversary and I was reminded of just how lucky I am! ( and for the record, I bought him some new hunting boots)

BTW that cowboy was a manican. It was Dusty's idea. I am pretty sure he wouldn't have let me do that if he was real.

Wow alot has been happening around here in the last month! I got released from the primary secratary and thought I was safe because I have a new baby. Well I guess your NEVER safe cause I got put in as 1st counselor in the primary. Even though I was a bit stressed at first, I know that is where I need to be. I LOVE PRIMARY!!!

Next our little Link is getting big on us. He turned 2 months. You know they aren't newborn anymore when you don't use weeks to tell people how old he is.

Then in very exciting mommy news.......... Logan Danner is officially potty trained! HAL LA FREAKIN LU YAH!!!! He got to pick out a toy at Wal-Mart and of course it was a $40 Buzz Lightyear. Here he is with him and Buzz underwear on.

Also we have been busy with football. Levi had his last regular season game on Saturday and had the best game of the season. YEAH!!! Go Levi #1!! He got 2 big tackles that prevented the other team from scoring touchdowns and he also chased the ball carrier down on one play, then he stripped the ball, and then jumped on the fumble!! Way to go Levi Hunter. When he came out, the coach turned him to the stands and had everyone cheer for him. (He was in heaven!!)

On Sunday we had our annual pumpkin carving get together at dad's house. We had apple cider and cookies while we carved. Dad, Uncle Barton, Uncle Daniel, Aunt Lacey, and Dallan joined us.

IN NEWS THAT DIDN'T HAVE PICTURES.....................................

* Dusty has been keeping busy with work (which we feel very blessed)and hunting/shooting his guns of course. His hunt is coming up in a couple weeks. Just in time for our anniversary. I definately should have thought of hunting season when I married him!

*Malarie has been busy with acheivement days and dance. She is getting ready for her 1st competition in February. We (me and her) are doing a breast cancer walk in November in honor of one of her former teachers who passed away last January.

*And I went on my annual friend girls trip a couple weeks ago. We went to a great resort in Tucson.We ate, had a great spa day, ate some more, went to a movie, did I mention we ate? and shopped till we dropped.They both are pregnant and due on the same day so everyone kept asking me if I felt left out.... ummm NO I have a new baby at home I would tell them. Thanks to our husbands/their moms for watching kids and letting us go enjoy ourselves for a few days! I have also been working my butt off................LITTERALLY!!! 8 pounds to go

Levi's- Football; Linkin's Blessing

We have been busy with football now since the first week of August. Just haven't had a chance to blog about it. Levi has played all kinds of positions. And we have alot of fun cheering for him. GO BLUE RIDGE MIGHTY MIGHTS!!! Funny story about him on his first game. He got sent out on the field for the first time, his whole team was in a huddle but him he was way in the back field. We were wondering what the heck he was doing???? Well his uncle Daniel was reffing and he was trying to get his attention to tell him "hi" of course! So he is waving and Uncle Daniel isn't waving back and finally he yells "Uncle Daniel, it's me Levi!" so that is what he did while his team was in the very first game and his very first huddle on the field. haha But don't let that fool you cause now he knows better and he plays hard.

We did Linkin's blessing on Sunday cause our Primary Program was then and grandparents were coming to watch Levi sing a solo. What a beautiful blessing Dusty gave and sacrament meeting was also wonderful! I can't believe this is my last baby blessing. At least he is still so small! He is growing though. At his 1 month check up he had gained 1 lb 8 oz and had grown 2 and a half inches.

Labor day weekend 2009

For Labor day weekend, Dust had work to do at some peoples cabin in young. So we loaded up and headed out. We really had a good time even though half of us got the flu. Luckily there was a washer and dryer there! This was just the vacation we needed, we.......................................

Sunday Afternoons

Well it has been 2 weeks since our sweet little Linkin arrived. And as you can see, we all have ajusted pretty dang good. I am feeling GREAT! Linkin is doing awesome and the other kids just love him to pieces. For those of you that are wondering, I didn't end up having a c-section. I am so glad! I ended up going into labor on that Friday night before then they broke my water the next morning. And after a very LONG labor he finally came at 10:07pm. But he is here and healthy and we all love love him!
Sundays at our house can get a bit long to be cooped up in the house and since we have no time on Mondays due to dance and football we made Sundays our FHE nights or days. So yesterday we headed out to look for animals, have a picnic, play ball, make forts, hike, and just run around outside! We had a great day and there is some pictures of our new little LOVE for everyones enjoyment.

So I met with my Doc yesterday. I am pretty much going to be pregnant forEVER! I know what some of you are thinking, your only 37 weeks! But when you are ready to have a baby at 36 weeks and then get cancelled every day after feels like an eternity! So I guess maybe next week?? Unless for some FABULOUS reason Linkin wants to come this week.

First day of school

So the kids headed off to school this morning. Malarie went to 4th grade and Levi went to 1st grade. Dusty took them to meet their teachers last night and said both teachers seemed nice. He scheduled a meeting this morning so since I was feeling pretty good I got to take them. It has been 17 days since I have driven anywhere so it was kinda nice to feel like I had some freedom. I figured I would be able to meet their teachers but to my suprise neither one of them wanted me to walk them to their classes. It really stinks when your kids get older and are so independent!!!Logan cried when we dropped them off. He kept saying,"Go to school with bubba and sissy!" I felt bad. He misses them when they go to school. But soon enough he will have a new buddy here to play with while they are gone. Which leads me to the next subject. I am sure you are wondering why I am at home blogging instead of giving birth. Well simple really. After we did the amnio the results came back that his lungs just aren't mature enough yet. So here I am still pregnant. Don't know any new plans yet but will update when I do. Here are my cute kids on their first day of school.

Pregnancy Update

Ok well some of you may know and some may not but I spent last week in the hospital. I have been having really bad dizzy spells and falling. Tomarrow it will be 3 weeks I have been battling these. I went in to the hospital on Sunday the 12th to try and figure out why I had fallen a couple days before and why I was still so dizzy. They ran some tests and found I was anemic. So we got some iron pills and hoped I would be feeling better in a couple days. I never did get feeling better but I did end up having some "good days." Monday the 20th I had a regular appointment and it just so happend to be a really bad day. I ended up falling on my way to the ultrasound and that is how I ended up in the slammer- I mean the hospital.

So I was there ALL week and ran test after test and saw specialist after specialist. No one could really pin point what could be causing these dizzy spells. So after some coaxing and promising I would stay down on complete bedrest for the next week and a half, they let me come home.

I saw my fabulous doc yesterday and he decided we just need to get me unpregnant. So the Amnio was scheduled for Tuesday and the C-Section was scheduled for Thursday. He did decide on a C-section because he feels I am not healthy enough for labor. Plus little Linkin is breech. So I am nervous about a c-section but not terrified because I have had my whole pregnancy to get used to the idea. So wish us luck. We are going to be adding our little preemie Linkin to our family in 1 week!

Well Summer has been fun at our house. Even though we haven't had and will NOT be having any big vacations. This summer we have played alot outside. Malarie has enjoyed ALOT of sleepovers and having friends sleepover. While Levi and Dusty have done so much fishing I don't even know how they could like it anymore! One time they even got up and 4:00 to go fishing before heading to work at 7:00. Then worked all day. Levi has been going to work with Dusty every day and I feel like I NEVER get to see my little boy anymore. Logan and I have had our own special days when we are the only ones home. We have had a date at the park and a breakfast date too! I on the other hand have been LIVING LARGE and not enjoying the extra pounds!(or swelling)

The kids did get to get away and mom and dad got a break for a WHOLE week! Aunt Sophie and Uncle Phil bravely offered to take ALL of them to just come and hang out at their house for a week and be spoiled! So Dust and I had a VERY quiet week and just did nothing. It was really nice to be at home and have really nothing to do and no kids to clean up after. So thanks again for giving us a break and giving our kids a vacation this summer! We love you guys.

So my birthday was yesterday. Can I just hay I have ALL the best people in my life??? I started off my day with breakfast with friends(and Lacey)who is a friend TOO! We ate my favorite, CRUNCHY FRENCH TOAST. If you have not tried this, you have to. It is amazing! It is a little mexican restraunt in Pinetop across from Burger King. Thank you so much to everyone who came. My bestest friends. These are all the girls that get me through hard times.I could never make it without you. I love you ALL.

Then it was off to drop my kids off at my moms. She was having a "grandkid" day. All her grandkids were there except Kaylin and Taylor and they were VERY missed. They played with 3-D chalk, made and frosted cookies, played "don't eat pete" and lots of other games, they played house(and of course got to build one outside)and had lots of fun playing in the water too. And on top of that my mom BOUGHT me a present too! I know, the best mom ever.

So after I dropped them off, my friend Allison came to pick me up for lunch cause she couldn't make it to breakfast. But first we went to get pedicures. She had made us appointments. It has been WAY too long since I have had a pedicure. It was SOOOO nice. I just have the best friends in the world. How did I get so lucky???

Well I just thought it couldn't get any better than this. I was wrong! I happend to marry the greatest man ever too and have the best kids. So I have been doing my own nails and Dusty ordered a drill for me cause it is almost impossible to do them without one. They got me all the nail stuff I needed (with a little help-JP) and the kids got me a BIG caboodle to keep it all in! Just what I wanted. The kids even did a puppet show for me. Cinderella. So cute and funny! Dusty had meetings for church so he took me to dinner the night before. He even stopped and bought a cake on his way home. My most favorite part was his card though. He just said how it has been a very hard year for us and he is proud that I am his wife and thankful for the sacrifices I have made for him and the kids! WOW. How did I get so lucky???

Dance is Over.....

Well for this year anyways. I actually decided last minute I was going to take this year off teaching. I have mixed emotions about it but I think it is what is best for me and my family right now. Plus I get to choreograph a competition dance so I think I will be ok. Here is some pictures of Malarie's annual recital and some of my classes, just at practice too. I was bummed I din't get to take a picture with my seniors in their costume. Malarie ALWAYS amazes us every year on how good she is getting. Even Dusty comments on how much he enjoys watching her progress year after year.

Father's Day 2009

I think Dusty had a great Father's day this year. He woke up bright and early for bishopric meeting. I made him his favorite breakfast and got him a new folder with pens and pencils so he would be prepared to write all his notes down. After church we let him sleep for a few hours while the kids and I made him dinner. He had all his favorites. Steak from the mesquite grill, corn on the cob, pasta salad, sauteed mushrooms, and homeade hot sauce and chips. After dinner he opened all his presents. The kids got to pick their own presents for him and it was funny to see what they chose. I gave him a wedding ring since he lost his in January.

After presents we headed to my dads to hang out and eat homeade ice cream and the kids played all kinds of fun games with grandma. One of their favorites was "pin the tie on daddy's shirt"

Levi's 1st Big Fishing Trip

Levi got to go on his first big fishing trip with his dad, Grandpa Sherwood, and Uncle Daniel. They went to Lake Powell. They set out Friday morning early hoping to get some good fishing in. The plan was to get to fish the evening and then camp somewhere for the night. Then head out early Saturday morning and fish ALL day. Well everything didn't go according to plan. When they got there the winds were REALLY bad. But they decided to try and go out anyway.(with my baby boy in the boat) Soon after they got on the water, they ALL decided that it wasn't a very smart idea! Dusty said he was just holding on to Levi with a death grip and planning in his mind what he would do if the boat started to sink or got turned over. YES it was that bad. He said the waves were 3 times the size the fishing boat they were in and they were all soaked and they were freezing. So he just tried to keep Levi warm. All the men said Levi was a trooper and never complained. His teeth were just chattering the whole time. Luckily they made it into shore ALIVE with a boat and then they headed to find a hotel where they could warm up and get some good sleep. So all the fisherman were up and ready to try again at 4am. It was a great day. And fun was had by all. All the men were prepared to just hand Levi their rods when they had caught something to let him feel like he had caught a fish. BUT THAT WASN'T NEEDED. He did catch about 10 fish and ALL by himself. Dusty said he would cast and reel in the fish all by himself. Every time he would say, "I caught one!" They would all be like ok?? Then he would reel it in. They even let him drive the boat. Dusty came home and couldn't help but be proud of his son. He also said he was so glad they went and were able to spend this QUALITY time together. This is what life's all about!!!

MAMA'S BIRTHDAY(she'd prefer grandma)

It is my mom's birthday today! She always has looked SO young. We ALWAYS heard, "THATS YOUR MOM!" growing up. (Actually still do) She had to work last night until 7 and had to be at work today from 9-6 so Lacey and I had a surprise sleepover at her house last night. Lacey ordered pizza and I made her favorite carrot cake. Then this morning I made Belgium waffles with strawberries and whip cream. All our husbands and my Levi are at Lake Powell so we enjoyed our girl time. Hope you have a great day mom and know how much you are loved! She also is the best grandma ever! My kids love you.

Dusty had a birthday shout hooray! My husband is so funny when it comes to dates. He cant remember any important dates and yesterday was a good example. I woke up and made him his favorite breakfast( fried egg in toast)then gave him a kiss and told him "Happy Birthday." He said, Its my birthday? I told him yes and then he asked how old he was. He is so funny! He went to work for a little bit and then met me at my doctors appointment. Afterwards we picked up the kids from aunt Lacey and all went to lunch. He had a physical therapy appointment so he went home and showered and got ready. I decided to go with him and he kept asking me why I wanted to go.(TO TAKE PICTURES SO I CAN PUT THEM ON MY BLOG)So that is what I did. This is Dusty totally embarrassed at physical therapy. A friend of ours took the kids for the night. So we went to dinner with Lacey and Daniel and my dad came too. Of course we had to embarrass him there. Double click these pictures. They are so funny. His face says it all! We got home to his present, which was Mitzie, his dog. Me and the kids had got some accessories for her. A new bed, bowls, bones, toys, of course she had to have a rhinestone hot pink shirt and a bling bling tag just in case she ever gets away from Dusty.

WARNING........ A DIRTY POST!

A "dirty" weekend that is. You know how dirty boys can get when mom is not around. First we'll finish up with Malarie's birthday. She had field day at school and Dusty went and took her some balloons with some candy and a really sweet card. (I still haven't read it)So after school we had a little barbecue at the park. So besided the park not having any barbecues and the weather was freezing and sprinkling it turned out good. Dusty ran to my parents to cook the food and get me a sweatshirt. Then the party was on. Only an hour late! Leave it to the Tuckfields. But it couldn't have been TOO terrible cause when Malarie woke up this morning she said, "yesterday was the best day EVER!"

So Fathers and Sons weekend started off with Dusty (and my mom for support) going to Levi's end of the year program. They said it was so cute and I was sad I missed it! Dusty took more pictures of the half hour program than he did the rest of the weekend.

Alright here is the dirty part of the post, although these pictures don't really do them justice. I didn't care. I didn't even have to see them so boyish and dirty! My bathtub showed the evidence though. Dusty said I would have died! You know me and that dang OCD. I am glad they had fun. They took the dirtbikes and 4-wheelers too and said the boys had a blast. The older boys and their dads played frisbee, had a three-legged race(Which Levi informed me that they won cause dad cheated. He just picked him up and ran. Levi din't seem to care about the cheating part though.)They also did an egg toss. So I asked where was Logan during all this? Dusty told me he was playing in a creek. WHAT? BY HIMSELF? Dusty said it wasn't deep at all. Oh so that made me feel ALOT better. NOT! So anyways they did have a great time.

Up until Gerald's 3 year old nephew took off and they couldn't find him for about 3 and a half hours! It was the scariest thing ever. We were in Tucson and felt like we couldn't do anything! They called search and rescue. And we called the sheriff's posse. We just called as many people we knew and asked that they go help search. We have a great community and great people that dropped EVERYTHING they were doing on a Saturday afternoon and headed out to find him. Luckily they did find him about a mile from where his 4-wheeler was found. He had followed the canyon down to a campground. Our prayers were answered that day. But after that exhausting and emotional event, fathers and sons weekend was OVER! They loaded up and went home! The next day Dusty took the boys to church by himself and said Logan got away from him and ran to the front in sacrament meeting, poor Dusty! Then him and Gerald waited for us to get home. They both cleaned the houses and made us dinner! YES the BESTEST husbands ever. Now next time we will take the boys and they can have the girls. Maybe it will be a smoother weekend for them. Maybe?

Just a quick update on me if anyone is wondering. My dr. took me off bedrest for the time being. And I did get my results back from all the "intensified" blood work. The results DO show I have Lupus and my dr. has already been talking to a specialist. They have a plan for now until the end of my pregnancy. And then I will have a different one. That is all I really know for now and meet with him next week. I feel like this is going to be fine so don't worry about me. Just wanted to INFORM everyone who has been wondering and worrying. Thanks to everyone for all their support in ALL of our up-hill battles lately. What's 1 more, right?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR FAVORITE DAUGHTER!!

I can't believe how old I am getting! Our favorite daughter is 9 today. I am so glad she was sent to our family. We definately would not function without her. Oh how we all love you Malarie. Your brothers are so lucky to have you. You do so much for them and can already babysit if mom and dad have to run an errand. I can't believe how fast the time goes by. I remember when dad and I just had you. We loved having 3+ years of you all to ourselves. I used to love when you would spit-up on your outfits so I could change your clothes. You were my dress-up doll. You were a very funny toddler too. You talked at 9 months and no one could believe your vocabulary. When you were 1 I took you to the grocery store to pick up some hamburger buns, you ended up almost sitting on them and I said, "Malarie, don't smash the buns!" and you pointed to your bottom and said, "these buns?" All I could do was laugh. As you have grown up you have been involved in lots of things. You did many pageants and were great at them. Of course you have danced since you were 3. And you also like to sing. You also did tee-ball. Everyone made fun of us cause you always had bows in your hair to match. AND you weren't that interested in the game. Then surprisingly you went through A VERY shy STAGE for about 3 years. You would cry everytime you would get in front of people. You still are kinda shy if you don't know the person. We love you so much Malarie. Have a Great birthday!

Last weekend while the boys went to Fathers and sons we headed to Tucson for a girls weekend with Allison and her girls Lily and Halee. We went to Kartchner Caverns. The cave was AWESOME! There is nothing allowed in the cave so these pictures are from the museum. We went swimming and shopping. Of course we all couldn't help ourselves, to tell the people where we ate it was Malarie's birthday to embarrass her. We had a GREAT weekend. And so did the boys. I'll do their post in a couple days. So Logan finally got his birthday present from Dusty and I. I told Dusty to go pick up a sandbox from Wal-mart for his birthday. When he ended up going to get it 2 days AFTER his birthday he called me and asked if I really wanted to pay that much for a little, cheap, sandbox. He told me he could make one for FREE and we would just pay for the sand. He also said he would make it the next day so I agreed. I am so glad I did. It turned out AWESOME! Logan loves it and yes that is sand you see all over his mouth. For some reason he had to try eating it too.

Friday night Dusty had a fun night planned. He barbecued steak, potatoes, and corn. It was yummy. After dinner we roasted GIANT marshmellows. He also told the kids he would set up the tents and could have a "campout." So him and all three kids and the dog slept outside. He ended up coming in around 5. I slept good that night, I don't know about him.

For Mothers day we went to the park and ate lunch. Then we had Dairy Queen. Ooops! I know it was my fault. I just wanted one sooo bad.

Just thought EVERYONE would like to see how Logan has been running around! (I am sure he will hate me for this someday.)

Lastly, I am off bed-rest for the time being and LOVING legal freedom. See those things at the very bottom of the picture? Those are my feet. I don't think you will be able to see those for very much longer. haha

Well Logan is 2!! I think he has a pretty cool birthdate too. 05-06-07. He had a "Bob the Builder" party. We had his friends come play at the park with him and eat a brown paper bag lunch with him. Complete with a "bulldozer" peanut butter and jelly sandwich. He thought that was a great day and even blew out his candles.(He had been practicing since Levi's birthday.) Thanks to everyone who came and made it a special day.

Some of the big boy things he is doing at 2 that I have just noticed in the couple weeks are.........
He can have a full conversation with you. (if he is in the mood that is)
He learned how to pedal a bike.
He can say his full name. (Lodan Danner Tufild)
If you ask how old he is, he holds up his 2 pointer fingers and says 2!
He is getting really good at using the potty. Wahhh Hooo.

I CAUGHT MY HUSBAND WITH ANOTHER GIRL!!!

And my kids too! Dusty and I got into a very "heated" conversation about this girl. I do NOT like dogs and felt we especially didn't need anything else on our plates right now, but as you can see, I lost the battle and everyone around here seems to be enjoying her but me! Malarie especially. She loves dogs and Dusty purposely got a girl so she could have a sister, "Mitzie" So I guess she is part of the family???

I thought I would finish up our April month since it is officially May 1st today. Well last weekend was the last of wrestling tournaments for Levi and we also had our nephew Joseph's baptism both in the valley. Even though I have been on bed rest I talked my doctor into letting me go. (Alright I admit it, he told me no but said he knew I was going to go anyway) I told the doctor I just needed a change of scenery and I would be good. We were going to have a nice uneventful weekend..........or so we thought! We should have known this "dark cloud" we have been living under for quite a while now would follow us to the valley. We woke up Saturday morning and this is what we found!

Yes someone broke into our car. SERIOUSLY??? So no Village Inn and stuffed French toast for me. Dang it! We had to file a police report and call the insurance. They took the TV's, DVD player, all the kids DVD's, and a key for the office building that I clean.(ok Dusty has to clean it now, poor Dusty) Anyways the office building needed re-keyed cause it had the name and address on it. The window needed fixed ASAP cause now we were headed to the wrestling tournament with ALL our luggage in the back. And the rest of the stuff wasn't covered. Fun huh? So insurance got someone to come and replace the window while we were at the wrestling tournament. Then we just went to a vaccum and my good husband cleaned it all up. The next picture is of my kids telling us "how cold and noisy" it was driving to the tournament with no window.With no TV's and them all sitting right next to each other close enough to fight and cry the whole way, Dusty and I decided it was kinda nice to drown out the noise. I said KINDA nice. It would have been much nicer just to have a movie on! Did I mention Dusty's sister was at the tournament. Our nephew Tyler is an awesome wrestler and we got to see him wrestle too. Levi wants to be just like him! Levi got the 2nd place medal. He wasn't too happy about it! The kid that he has been wanting to beat so bad, beat him again. He IS going to beat him. Watch out. Levi is coming back next year. Malarie took the picture of us all and HASN'T had photography lessons. Can you tell? Joseph's baptism was great except Dusty got really sick and ended up missing the confirmation cause he was in the bathroom throwing up. We headed to Summer and Justin's afterwards for a very yummy dinner. Dusty rested and the kids all played with their cousins. Of course I didn't get the camera out. After a while dusty felt good enough to drive home so we headed out. It ended up being an eventful weekend, but better than just staring at my green walls!!!!

Get ready for another long post!
April started with Levi's birthday. He turned 6. We did a family birthday this year. I think it was harder on me than him. I always have big birthday parties for my kids but man was this year so non-stressful! We texted Lacey and Daniel about half hour before we left to see if they wanted to come. Of course they did, they are the best aunt and uncle EVER! My mom and dad already were coming cause my mom made his cake. Look at how awesome she did! Why didn't I get that talent? After pizza he picked to go bowling. We had a fun late night bowling! Hattie and her 2 older kids met up with us to join in the fun.

That weekend we headed to Joseph city to watch conference with Dusty's mom. I didn't take any pictures of us laying around eating and sleeping while Dusty's mom watched the kids all weekend! We love going there, we always feel so rested when we leave. Dusty's mom is always EXHAUSTED though. Sorry! She does say she loves it???

The next weekend we headed out for Levi's wrestling tournament. He could not sleep at all and we still heard him up at 4:00. We headed out at 4:45. He had to be a weigh-ins at 8:00. He ended up throwing up the whole way down. Lucky for us we had throw up bags in the car. When we all stopped in Globe to eat he didn't get to. We knew what he would do with it! So after he weighed in we made sure he had plenty of fluid and something to eat. We worried what kind of day it would be. Well........ it was his best wrestling day he had had. He had some really tuff matches and he ended up taking 3rd!!! Should have been 2nd if one of the matches had a good ref! But he was excited to get a medal. Afterwards we went to Peter Piper Pizza with Gerald and Allison and then headed home.

The next morning was Easter. We had a low key day but it was a great day! The Easter bunny left some candy and toys for the kids during the night. We have morning church so we headed there. When we got home we colored eggs and I hid them downstairs. Malarie and Levi got to find them. You can see what Dusty and Logan did when us three were busy! I love nursery, it always wears him out! We ended the day at my parents for a very nice meal of fish. I love when my dad cooks fish. Lacey and Daniel and Dallan boy came too but I didn't get any pictures. The best part was I didn't have to cook a thing. My mom did it all Thanks mom.

So we made it through April. Now I just have to make it through May,June, and July. Dr. Tindall said if he can get me to August we will be doing good. So lets hope those 3 MONTHS go very fast!

March Madness!!

What is that you say? It is almost May. Well today I was going through my camera and saw all these fun pictures. I thought I would get everyone caught up on what we've been up to. I also want to thank everyone who left a comment. Sometimes I think we get too overwhelmed with things. But that is what I need friends for, to give me a lift when I'm down. Then kick me back in gear. So here I am today, feeling alot better. (And I snuck out of my bed to download these pictures.........Shhhhhh)
Well these pictures are of St. Patricks day. Always a favorite around here. My kids always try to catch those darn leprechons! This year they constructed a house for them and the idea was to make it so comfortable, they would not want to leave. They even left a bath full of water, motorcycles to ride, all the green food they could find, and left notes for the little rascals too. Usually I help alot but was on bedrest this year so they did a pretty good job. Don't you think?

After all their hard work they were excited to see what they caught the next morning! They could not believe those naughty leperchons weren't there. And they had made a mess of the house they made for them. But first they played on the toys, took a bath, took bites out of the celery and broccli, and wrote back to them on their notes! I don't know how Malarie and Levi knew they did all that but they told me they could tell.They weren't TOO dissapointed though cause even though they didn't catch any again this year, they still left the kids green treats!

The last week of March was Spring break. We had purchased a trial membership at a time share resort a couple of years ago and never ended up using the remainder of our points. So we decided to go to Scottsdale for the week and use it up. Dusty of course couldn't come until the weekend so we asked my parents to come. My mom and I and all the kids left Wed. and Dust and my dad came on Fri. afternoon. We stayed until Monday. Most of the trip was relaxing. We just sat around and ate and went swimming. Ok shopping was involved too.

Friday morning we headed out to get a knee pad for Levi for wrestling. He had his first big tournament in the valley the next day and dad said he had to have it. So my mom and I were off on this wild goose chase! Logan didn't sleep too well the night before. But I didn't really think too much of it until about an hour and a half into our fun, I looked back in his car-seat and could tell he just didn't feel good. I felt his head and he was pretty hot too. So we went to a few more stores, finally we found one that would fit. After I got back in the car, I felt Logan again cause he looked worse. He was BURNING up. I called my insurance to see where we could take him. We got to the urgent care pretty quickly and they got him in. His temp was 104.4. They gave him a suppository Tylenol and it started working pretty quick. They checked his ears. Fine. They checked for Step. Fine. So they asked to do a chest x-ray. The Dr. thought it could be pnemonia. So we left to pick up his antibiotics. Dusty and my dad came and met us at Walgreens. I gave him his medicine and we were off to the resort. On the way back, Logan threw up until there was nothing left in his system. We got back, cleaned him up and I sent Dusty to the store for a thermometer and some gatorade. He got back and I had been trying to give him a tiny bit of water every 20 min. and he wouldn't keep any of it down. We took his temp again and it was 103.7 and rising so we headed to the ER. Fun fun. By the time they took his temp it was 104.6. He was miserable and lathargic. They retook a chest x-ray and said they didn't see any pnemonia but did see a mass in his lung that wasn't normal and that they were worried about. They asked to do a CT scan. After the Ct scan they still couldn't figure out what it was. They wanted him to stay on antibiotics and get another CT scan when we got home. So they sent us home. It was 2:30am and 6:45 was when we needed to get up to get Levi to the tournament. Oh that night sucked!!

So besides me being so grouchy and Dusty so tired, we made it through the tournament. Levi didn't place but did AWESOME! We were both so proud of him. So we did finally just get Logan's results back. And THANKS to alot of prayers. There was nothing. The mass was GONE!!!!

LIFE IS NOT ALWAYS SO WONDERFUL!!!

I know, I know, I know. I need to update my blog. I have lots of pictures and stories to go with the pictures but am confined again to bed! I HATE bed-rest. It is so boring. Although I have good friends who bring me their laptops so I can check up on everyone else. (Thanks Jessica. She knows how bad bedrest sucks. She was in the hospital for 5 weeks!) Anyways everyone else in the family is doing good. I just have a bad attitude! I want to be closer to being done with this pregnancy but I am not ready for another baby. Don't get me wrong, this baby will be loved. I just don't know how I am going to do 4 KIDS. 4 kids, I know alot of people have 4 kids and do just fine. But I haven't even mastered 3. When I had 2 kids, life was great.I was on time everywhere I went. The kids were ALWAYS dressed in the cutest clothes, hair done, stories read to them, I had time to play with them. I always had a cleaning day once a week. The whole house would be clean within 3 hours. ALWAYS. Laundry never got piled up cause I always stayed on top of it. Dishes were always done before I went to bed. Malarie always had a fresh manicure and pedicure. And if her outfit didn't match her nails, I would change the color. Not to mention, there was ALWAYS something fresh baked on the counter.(cookies,brownies,something) OH HOW MY LIFE HAS CHANGED! I feel like I am NEVER going to have it together again! Everything is opposite of what my life used to be! My kids tell me they don't have clean socks and I find a missed matched pair or I tell them to just wear dirty ones! Did I just admit that to the whole world? Now I am lucky if the dishes get done every 3 days. If Malarie has a manicure it is because it is a special occasion. And I always just paint over the top. I never have time to take the color off first. I can't remember the last time my kids got a story read to them. They read their own now. Malarie usually reads to Logan. (She is his second mom and he says he is Malarie's boy not mommy's boy)I wonder why? See how caotic my life has gotten? I just always pictured my life running so smoothly and I had everything planned out.I have always been organized and now I just shut the door if I don't want to see all the boxes I still haven't unpacked and papers ALL over the floor in the office. We won't even start on the playroom! It's supposed to be messy and never organized, RIGHT? So sorry if you read this. Just getting some of my frustrations out! I feel like the last time I felt this down was 9 years ago, going through my divorce. I would think it was the baby blues if I had had the baby. So anyone out there with any advice? Feel free to leave a comment. Tell me I will get it back together one day!

ANOTHER BUSY WEEK

So is it just me, or are the weeks just flying by? Last week started like all the other weeks. Dance and wrestling practice on Monday + FHE, so always a busy day. Tuesday I had signed up to help in both the kids classrooms and have parent-teacher conferences. So I had asked some people in our ward to watch Logan. We love them so much and all call them grandma and grandpa. If you told my kids they weren't really their grandparents they wouldn't believe you. Both kids are doing great in school. While Malarie struggles in some subjects she has always been good in reading. Her teacher just loves her. She told me when I came in that it was just going to be a brag session. When I went to Levi's teacher to meet with her I wasn't suprised for most of what she had to tell me. He is VERY smart but has trouble sometimes sitting still. He got all A's on the report card. She then told me she was going to ask me if she could do some AR testing with him in reading. She had about 5 kids who were above average readers who she wanted to test. She knew I would say yes so she did it a few days before. She told me that she has never had a student test as high as Levi did. He is almost at 2nd grade reading level at 5 years old! Wow was impressed, and told her that he obviously got his smarts from me! j/k (Actually it is from Dust)

So after all that good news I go to pick Logan up from Grandpa and Grandma. When I walked in he was asleep in grandpas arms. And grandma was almost in tears telling me how sorry she was. I said for what? She told me Logan fell outside and there was alot of blood. He wouldn't let her look in his mouth but she knew the bleeding was coming from there. So I looked in and knew he needed to go to the dr. So when we got to the dr. I had only seen the piece of skin that attatches the top lip to the gums was gone. I let him find the rest. He had a very bad gash at the very top of his gums and needed stitches. I don't know who it was harder on. Me or him. They had to give him about 15 shots right in all the sore spots to numb it. Then after I got him calmed down from that tramatic event he had to be pinned down again for the stitches. Luckily they put the ones in that dissolve. So it was a rough few hours at the doctor. He definately doesn't want to go back ANY time soon. The next day he was pretty swollen and sore. But now you wouldn't even know. I took these pictures 2 days after because he wouldn't let me get close to his lip for the first 2 days.

Since Dusty and our good friend Gerald are helping coach these little wrestlers, they wanted to call some extra practices to get the kids ready for 2 tournaments. One on Thursday and one on Saturday. Levi had practice on Tuesday and Wednesday too. I guess the extra practices paid off. He took first in his tournament on Thursday. Then Saturday he exceeded any expectations we had for him. He had 7 matches. 2 of those matches were forfeits.The kids wouldn't wrestle him. And the other 5 he pinned ALL of his apponents. He was AWESOME!! So he is undefeated as of now. He took 1st place in folk style and 1st place in free-style. We are so proud of him! He gets all his skills from me! j/k (Actually dust was a great wrestler)

During all this excitement,on Thursday I started bleeding again. So I had to go to the Dr. for another emergency ultrasound. Hey one good thing with being a high risk pregnancy is you get to see the baby ALL the time. Well not really any news we didn't know already. It was the placenta. And still a complete previa but maybe a 1/4 inch of it was migrating up. That was the reason for blood. Oh ya and we saw that Malarie and I are definately always going to be outnumbered! ONE LAST BOY FOR THE TUCKFIELDS!!! So I better just get used to these wrestling tournaments. I am sure my future has alot of them in it!

We had my mother-in law up for the weekend and she came with us to church. Malarie had a talk in primary, so she got to come in and watch her. Malarie made her grandma cry with her sweet talk. Here it is.

After she got done the primary president got up and said,"YES Malarie all moms would love to have a Malarie!" She does make my job as mom ALOT easier. So a week full of proud moments at our house!

Ok so just as promised, pictures! These are just a few things we have been up to.

Logan got a new potty, we are not "potty training" yet but just getting use to going on the potty. He actually has gone quite a few times already. After all, I can't have 2 in diapers. We will let you know when REAL potty training is.

Levi has just started wrestling and LOVES it. Wait I don't know who loves it more, Dusty or Levi. haha He is good and has his first tournament next weekend.

Malarie has been busy as usual at dance. She really has begun to LOVE it and wants to be great at it. Finally after 6 years!

So I know I am brave for putting up a picture of myself at 14 weeks and looking soo big already. Unlike some people,(my sisters)I show so dang early and then pack on the pounds like they are going out of style. What am I going to do? I am hungry.

Then here is the hardest working man I know. I think he is pretty hot too! Like I said he is pretty excited about Levi being in wrestling. He was ready for something different than dance!

So there is a little update on everyone. I am just enjoying my time off bedrest cause I know it won't be long until I am back on. Has anyone else had a complete placenta previa? I would like to know how your pregnancy and delivery went.

Alright, I am a bad blogger. I really didn't care either. I have had alot on my plate lately and didn't think I would blog again. But some of you sweet people keep asking me to make a post.............................. so here we go. An update! When I looked at my last post, I couldn't even remember what those months were like, so ya it HAS been a long time. Anyways I think I left off at December. All I can say about Christmas is we made it through and all the kids were happy, so no complaining. I really wanted to do something for New Years Eve rather than sitting at home and going to bed before midnight so I tried to talk one of my friends into having a party and I would help. She didn't want to have all the headache of getting ready for a party. So I decided to throw together a couple's party 2 days before new years. It was alot of fun. And we learned ALOT about the couple's there.haha We were having so much fun, none of us even checked the time. So we missed midnight. And no I didn't take any pictures. But we had a good time! We played wii, bunco, not-so-newlywed game, and had lots of good food and laughs.

We also needed to find a new house.Well we found a cute little house that the owner wanted fixing up. He told us if we would do the fixing he would take a couple hundred off the already low rent. So we knew we couldn't pass the deal up! The house was going to be a BIG change for us and alot smaller but we knew it was a huge blessing as we 2 are struggling in this economy. So January was the month of remodeling. WOW it was alot more time than I expected. Poor Dusty was working 10 hour days, 6 days a week then we would go work at the house sometimes till midnight. One of the first things we did was set some beds up so we could put the kids to bed cause they would have school the next morning. WE did new flooring, paint, rail for the upstairs, remodeled a bathroom,and no again I didn't take any pictures. I think the last pictures I have on my camera are the ones I already posted. Sad huh?

Ok there is so much more still so if your still reading this, wow. So Dusty and I got on the subject of babies in December, like most spouses do. We were just discussing the possibility of having any more. After talking for some time about it we had come to an agreement that we were DONE with 3. We had all the kids we needed and didn't feel bad about being done. (After all it has been hard enough to take care finacially of the 3 we have.)So anyways it didn't come up again until a couple weeks later when I started feeling so sick EVERY day. I could NOT get my lazy butt out of bed for anything. My workouts that I usually LOVE were getting less and less.
Not to mention a few "other" parts of my body were so sore. Anyways I knew. I didn't want to know. But I knew what was going on! I didn't even end up taking a test till 5 and 1/2 weeks cause I didn't need to. I just did so I could PROVE to my husband that I was. So here are the results.(Which again........I knew)

So yes. It is true.(Part of the reason I write that it is true, is for ME to believe it.) And if you have seen me lately, I'm not JUST eating alot! So anyways we really wanted to keep it a secret for a while. Cause I wanted to be somewhat excited to tell people. Which with Every other pregnancy I have told the world at 4 weeks. So we did just that and din't even tell family until week 8 when I started to bleed and had a tear in my placenta. At that time we were still remodeling. Trying to get the other house somewhat packed because we had to be out in 12 days. Not to mention I was fighting this horrible sickness people call "morning sickness" that lasted ALL day. So the Dr. put me on bedrest. Yes you read that right! I told the nurse that broke the news to me that I could do it ANY other week, but not that week. She didn't seem to care and so it was. I was on bedrest. My mom, the WONDERFUL mother I have instantly became a "mother" of three. With ALL the jobs that intails. Taking to school, picking up from school, taking to all activities. You all know. I could go on and on. Anyways not only did she have all the kids, she helped Dusty finish up the house so we could move in, which included cleaning it from top to bottom, she packed my ENTIRE house up. (I hadn't even gotten one box yet.Boy did I feel dumb for procrastinating. Especially when some friends showed up from the ward to help her.)So we had meals EVERY night from our great ward members and 20 elders quarum members showed up on a Saturday morning and moved everything in 2 hours. We felt so blessed! Although I felt pretty dumb just "sitting" there while everyone was working. So that pretty much sums up January. Thanks to some great ward members, some WONDERFUL friends, and my AMAZING mom we made it through and I got off bedrest. Of course just after I was all moved in.

So here we are in February. Valentines day was actually fun. Most people wouldn't think so but I did. Dusty ended up going out of town the night before. His mom asked if he wanted to go with her to the valley to see his nephew wrestle at regionals. (Which Tyler won by the way. WAY TO GO!)Any ways I was all for this because the last break of any kind he has had was when he went hunting in November. He has been WAY over-worked and under-paid lately.(I guess that is what happens when you are the boss.) I was so glad to let him go have 2 days off. Malarie ended up getting the stomach flu an hour after he left. So that part was not fun. She was so dehydrated she passed out. So once again, mom to the rescue. Her and my dad came over got some liquid back in her system and insisted on taking ALL the kids home since I wasn't feeling good. Next day was better. I woke up and got to my friends house to watch her 4 kids so she and her husband could go out of town to do a triathalon. I brought my boys but Malarie had to stay with grandma. We had a great time and also made Valentines cupcakes with homeade frosting. (I am getting hungry) Anyone want to make me some cupcakes? Sorry got a little sidetracked.

So life has been just trying to get through the days without feeling SO sick. Maybe unpacking a box or two if I feel up to it. Trying to get organized and life back to somewhat normal. Thursday, February 19, I woke up feeling actually good! I got some stuff unpacked. Hung my bedroom decorations and swept and mopped all the floors. Since we don't have carpet. Dusty had just got home to do some office work and to watch the boys since it is the day I teach dance(to trade out for Malarie to take) I went to the bathroom like I do every other 20 minutes of the day, and blood. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! is what I was yelling from the toilet. And some other stuff. So off to the Dr. Friday morning we went. They did another ultrasound and the baby is growing fine. And the heart was beating. But they found that now I have placenta previa. So the placenta is covering the whole cervix! I din't think it was a big deal until the Dr. told me we are going to have to be REAl careful. This would probably end up in a c-section and maybe even an emergency c-section. WOW is all I can say. So this baby definately wants to make an entrance. I have 2 cold sores and I Never get cold sores so I maybe am a little stressed! We did get a cute picture though. So here it is! Now everyone is caught up. I will take some pictures for the next post. PROMISE!

WOW It has been a while, I almost forgot how to blog.What have we been doing? Besides Dusty running a buisness, me TRYING to keep up on the books, babysitting 3 times a week, being at the dance studio 3 times a week, this is what else we have been up to. I got the kids school pictures in. FINALLY. We have had 3 music programs. One was in Levi's class, one was his Christmas program in music, and Malarie had a first semester 50's music program. It was so fun to go and watch my kids perform.

I also have canned 80 lbs. of chicken and 25 lbs. of beans. (needless to say we all like chicken and beans lately) In the past 4 weeks I have made 17 loaves of bread! White, wheat, cinnamon, banana nut,and pumkin chocolate chip. Luckily I haven't eaten all those. (pretty close though)

I am also the "scrooge" this year. I didn't even want to put up a tree. We did though. And I let my kids do ALL the 15 ornaments that I didn't have to look through all my crap for. And they were so excited about doing it! Even though it is a VERY sad tree I didn't think they noticed until Levi said the other day, "mom, I think our tree needs some more ornaments and lights!" OK so he is right. I told him maybe we would actually decorate it for Christmas Eve. MAYBE

We had my family Christmas party. Sophie and Phil were in charge. We had a great dinner, $15 gift exchange, made cookies and took them caroling, my kids got to make crafts, and of course alot of laughs. Thanks Soph and Phil. A job WELL done.

Malarie and I were also in the "Nutcracker" this year for the Mountain Dream Dance Company. It was fun, but alot of work. Rehersals started in September and went till last weekend when we performed. I was in the party scene. Malarie was in the battle scene, snow scene, and she was a candy kid. I LOVED watching her dance in this performance. She looks so old and her ballet has come a long way since she started 5 1/2 years ago. Way to go sis!

We have been so blessed lately up here in the mountains with moisture. So therefore have had quite a few snow days. This one is with Uncle Phil, who is so fun and makes the coolest snowman EVER! We hope he waits a little longer to become a dad because my kids ALL get so much attention from him and Aunt Sophie. hehe

I don't have a picture to prove it, but my older kids have each had 2 days to ring the Salvation Army bell. It has been a great experience for both of them. And none of the days were good weather. Which made them grateful to have a warm house after 4 hours of freezing cold temperatures. They made alot of money for people in need. Although after explaining what they were doing this for, Levi told my mom he could be collecting the money for us. He is so funny. Well this year we have really been trying to focus on the TRUE meaning for the season and my kids have done wonderful! I am so proud of them. We didn't send out Christmas cards this year, but if I did they would have had these pictures on them and said, MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM THE TUCKFIELDS. Hope everybody has a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Today's post is just for journaling purposes. I just wanted to write down a few things that I am thankful for. Things are very hard for alot of us right now. But our Bishop gave a wonderful talk in church on Sunday. He told us that in the world's eyes we are all so very rich. Which once I thought about that and all the children who don't even know if they are going to eat that day when they wake up, and all the parents who have to watch their children starve. I feel so blessed. All the little things I take for granted. Our Bishop also said how very "rich" we were in the gospel. How lucky I am to have the gospel in my life and know all the things I do. I am grateful for the peace that comes in these "scary times." How true is the quote, "if ye are prepared, ye shall not fear" I am trying to get prepared physically and spiritually. I am so grateful for our Savior who made the ultimate sacrifice so maybe one day I can return home to my Father. I am thankful to also have enough trust from our Father in Heaven to raise and guide 3 of his very special children. Lastly I am thankful to my husband who took me to the temple so we can be together forever. Happy Thanksgiving.

OUR ANNIVERSARY TRIP?S?

Our anniversary was so fun this year. We both had a blast. We just weren't together! Dusty had a hunt and OF COURSE he was going. So I went to Sedona for a GIRLS TRIP. It was so fun to be with my friends and not have to worry about kids or the stresses of life. This first picture is the GREAT WHITE HUNTER heading off. (This is the first hunt he has ever been drawn for that he came home empty handed! Dang it I wanted to fill the freezer.)

This is our first day. We shopped till we dropped. We just went to bed after. We were all so tired.

This is bright and early posing for pictures. Allison had already done her hair and make-up. She was up for a while before Hattie and I rolled out of bed.

Next we got our hiking clothes on, packed a lunch, and headed to Devils Bridge Trail.

As you can see we had a blast! It was so beautiful. Of course I climbed on that ledge. It was alot harder than it looks. There was nothing to hold on to. Next we decided to go to Slide rock. As soon as we started on the trail, I said to Allison and Hattie, "LOOK there are deer" they were about 200 yards away. So Allison and I took off to get pictures and see how close we could get. It was so cool we got about 25 yards before the last doe took off.

Ok in this picture some random guy is taking our picture and all of a sudden I can hear my so called friends say, "on the count of three push her in." Do they think I'm deaf? So I grab on to Allison. If I go in, you are going. We only got our legs wet. But did I mention it was FREEZING!

Next stop- Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. There was so many yummy things to choose from, so yes we bought and ate WAY TOO MUCH.

Once we got done stuffing our faces full of treats, it was time to head back and get dressed and ready for dinner. I don't remember the name of the place but we all shared each others plates and it was Good.

We didn't have QUITE enough fun for one day so we decided to do Karaoke night. But once we showed up it turned into SKARAOKE NIGHT! Allison and Hattie were so funny. Hattie said she was not getting up at all. And Allison made me go up with her for her first debut, whip it.I will NEVER forget her trying to sing that song. SO FUNNY! Believe it or not,I had never done karaoke before so it was fun. We finally got Hattie convinced she could do it and I really thought she was going to have a heart-attack waiting for our names to be called. But she survived and I think she thought it was fun too.

We all sang "Barbara Ann" by the Beach Boys and tried to do parts. bah haha So NOT Good. We also tried "Man I Feel Like A Women" by Shania Twain.

After we finally got to bed that night, we were in for a REAL treat the next day. We had a full SPA day. It was so WONDERFUL. We got to use their fitness center, pool (we actually just laid out), steam room, jacuzzi, and then we all got a treatment. A perfect end to a perfect weekend. Thanks again for taking all the stress away friends!

Levi Hunter Tuckfield

So I needed to write this down so I didn't forget it. Last night Dusty was out of town on his hunt. So I decided to break ALL the rules, my rules. I thought it would be fun to stay up until midnight having a dance party, yeah you heard me right everbody, on a school night!! We played really loud music and shut all the blinds so my neighbors couldn't blackmale me with all the fun we were having. Actually Malarie wimped out on us so it was just Levi and I dancing to mostly "Dangerous." So needless to say we were SUPER tired tonight. I got home from dance late tonight so as soon as we walked through the door it was already 8:30 and bedtime is usually 8:00 around here. I told Levi to go strait to his room and get jammies on and go to bed! I went up-stairs to make sure he had done that, and he said,"mom,what about scriptures?" I told him not tonight. We are just to late getting to bed. I went back downstairs and he says,"mom will you bring me my scriptures? I think I can read some of the words?" SO OF COURSE I DID!! HOW CAN YOU ARGUE WITH THAT? A 5 year old not wanting to miss scriptures for a night, so he will just sound out some words!!! I love this kid. I better get going so I can get my reading done tonight. What an EXAMPLE.

Its our anniversary today. I am so lucky to have snatched this one up. We have had so many great memories,and am looking forward to so many more! After 8+ years I love love love you. (way more now than in the second picture) I am a LUCKY girl!!!

Oh this year was fun!! My favorite story about this day was from Malarie. When I was getting ready she said,"mom, you look just like elasta-girl. Your hair looks like her. And your arms and legs are really long and you are really skinny with a big butt!" Ok isn't that funny! I thought so, so did Dusty when we told him.

Ok so I got this GREAT idea from a friends blog to post "old school pictures" of Halloween.(Thanks Trachel)The more I thought about halloween when I was a kid, the more I laughed. I called my mom to look for any halloween pictures she had, and then we had another good laugh! We would wake up Halloween morning and she would say,"go find something in the dress up box." And this was just as I got older, I know she planned out Halloween when we were young. Man how did she do 6 kids????? But the biggest laugh was at Summer! What were you most of the years? I don't think you really knew. hahaha

This picture on the bottom is Summer and I. I did both of our costumes that year. I was obviously a pregnant women(in 6th grade)and Summer was Erkle. She had a halloween party to go to. Remember how mad dad was when he saw you ruined his pin-striped shirt(with black paint)?

This one was funny, that thing I had on my head was a skirt but I remember insisting on having it on my head, so the good mom that I have bobby pinned it in!

If you were wondering what I was in this one, DUH I was a punk rocker!! Man I wish I could see what pants I have on, I can't remember. Dang it.

Even though I was only 5 I still remember this halloween, I was sooo sick.

So I wish I could be a little more like my mom, and not stress about Halloween. We start figuring out what the kids are going to be in August every year! These are just a few Halloweens we've had since Malarie was a baby.

Last night we had everyone over for our annual pumpkin carving party. This year I included Apple Cider and Carmel Apples. I think those will be included from now on! They were a big hit except for Preggers(Sam), she thought even the sight of them was disgusting. Man she missed out. I had carmel, almonds, and chocolate on mine. The babies kept Grandpa entertained in the front room.

Hmmmmmm I wonder what the Tuckfields are going to be this year for Halloween?? Stay tuned.

Alright so on with the vacation! By the next afternoon I was feeling WAY better! I don't know if it was because Dusty got there or just cause I was actually feeling better. In the next 2 pictures, how we started the trip and then an hour later.

Next it was snack and movie time. Then my kids all got to stuff and make their own animal.(Like build a bear but way more reasonable)

Now its dark and cold but the kids really want to go swimming, so we go in the jacuzzi.

This is us on the famous Pink Jeep tour, we went on the Broken Arrow Trail. We had a good time. Especially watching our kids enjoy the day. The views were amazing!

Next was the Reptile Lady. Dusty should have definately married someone like her! Eww that stuff was nasty, but the boys liked it.

More swimming fun! This time it was warm and sunny.

Time for a warm bath before bed. (Malarie was a bit embarresed when I pulled the camera out, maybe getting too old for bath pictures!)

We are all loaded ready to go. But wait lets go to a nearby park and have a picnic on our way out of town. That'll wear em out for sure!!

All I can say is thank goodness for the 24 Hour flu! And hey if anybody needs to lose that 5 extra pounds, Catch the flu!

SICK AND TIRED

Alright that sounds like a pregnancy announcement..............but lucky for me it's NOT!!! Anyways my kids Fall break was last weekend, they had half a day on Friday and Monday and Tuesday off. We decided it would be fun to go to Sedona. Well Thursday afternoon Dusty decides to tell me he can't go until Saturday and he has to come home Monday too. To put it lightly I was NOT happy. But he tried to make me excited about driving by myself with the kids by saying to stop in Flagstaff and go shopping. I guess that made it a little better.??? Or so I thought.We headed out Friday about 3:00. So for the next couple of hours I didn't feel so great. But not bad enough to NOT go shopping!! So we make it to Flag, shop for an hour and a half, (of course our basket is filled to the brim) all the kids need warm clothes. Then it hits like a ton of bricks! I feel like I am going to hurl all over any second! I ask Malarie if my face is white and she says YES! I start to have the cold sweats! Oh yeah I had it all. I can't remember the last time I was THIS sick. I am calling Dusty telling him to come get me, ( I am a huge baby when I am sick) Well of course he can't believe I am still in Flag. And he has to finish up some stuff for work the next day, so he can't. Long story short, for the next 2 hours I am fighting with 3 screaming kids, driving, trying to get directions to the resort, very dissoriented, I definately shouldn't have been driving, all while feeling like I wanted to just DIE and put myself out of my misery. Well luckily I didn't actually stand hunched over puking my guts up for 30 minutes outside the resort until we made it there. I am sure it was a nice site for all the other guests!! So that is how our VACATION started! Stay tuned, (it did get better)...................................................

LUNCH DATE

I had the best lunch date the other day. And I think he is one of the cutest boys ever, so that helped! haha We had been in the house for days, so I thought it would be nice to get out for a while.

Well obviously we went to the park, just Logan and mommy. He is getting so BIG. He can do it all, and all by himself! Climb, slide, ok he can't swing by himself, but that was his favorite.And I loved pushing him and making him laugh.

Next was lunch. We ate a sandwich, nectarine, string cheese, and some crackers. Yummy! I love picnics.

Then it was time to hit the road for nap time in our COOL RIDE. I love this ride, but I think Logan likes it even more. He just gets to sit back and relax while mom sweats it out on hills. Thanks Loggie for a fun and very needed lunch date!

"THE CHALLENGE"

The challenge I gave MYSELF that is. So on Thursday I saw a sign for a 2 mile Fun Run, the run was on Saturday. I knew Sophie was coming up for the weekend and she has been working out too so I decided to text her and see if she was up for the challenge also. She was!! So I thought to myself, Why not push myself a little harder than I usually do and see how good I could do? Well I was talking to Lacey on Friday night and she wanted to run too. So we decided to meet @ the park for registration at 6:30am. (Yeah on a Saturday and we paid to enter!) Well we got registered and then posed for pictures of course, while everyone else warmed up. You can tell all the pictures before the race cause my face isn't RED! Anyways we lined up for our race about 7:30am. Well not to brag, but I am very proud of myself. I was the first women to finish the race!!! I think I came in overall in 5th. But for some reason they put me in my sisters age division and I got 1st place!! Sophie was so mad cause she got second and Lacey got third. I didn't care cause I would have got first no matter what. Sorry Soph. But what a fun and crazy morning. We got done with the awards at 9:30 and had to be to a parade with all the kids by 10:00.

So here are some pictures of the parade. Logan thought he was having the best day of his life! The little fire truck came right up to him, and he liked it up until that point. The picture is right when he's running away. haha Also someone came and gave him a stuffed animal. He threw it back at them. It was so funny. Then we got to have a family council with Everyone up on Sunday. Not really a fun subject but we knew we had to pull together. And that is exactly what we are doing!! I love all of you. (We can also use prayers right now, if anybody wants to pray for us.) Anyways here are all the Sherwood cousins. What a hectic weekend. But it was definately nice to end it with my family all here together! Families can be Together Forever

WHAT A WAKE - UP CALL

Well todays post is nothing spectacular, but I have had alot on my mind lately. I started watching this 8 month old today. His mom just needed me on Wed. and Thurs. for 4 hours and some Fridays. I thought that would be great to get a little extra cash and have someone for Logan to play with. Well when she dropped him off and didn't want to leave him, and called in between the 4 hours. I realized how lucky I really am!!! I remember 8 years ago when I HAD to work and there was no other option. I had to take Malarie to a babysitter. Still when I think about it, my heart aches. Tears would come down my face everyday. I hated leaving her. I know some people don't have a choice, but I just wanted to publicly say how thankful I am to be a stay at home mom.

Then the other thing that has been on my mind is the fact that I need to be better at living in the moment and not so worried about what has to get done!!! Yesterday morning I woke up and could not get out of my bed. I was so scared that the dream I had was reality! (Anybody else have dreams that are so real?) Anyways I'll spare everybody the details, but my baby had passed away and my husband was barely alive. This dream has made me look @ things a little different. Even though sometimes I get so stressed out about the little things. And feel like there is never enough time in the day to get EVERYTHING done that I think is so necessary. And sometimes think my kids HAVE to be the naughtiest kids ever. I still know what a blessing my family is and I wouldn't change any of them. (ok except for when my kids are naughty)Anyways sorry to bore you just had to write what I have been thinking. Here are the kiddos just being themselves!!!

I THOUGHT YOU WERE GOING TO UTAH???

So all my sisters, mom, and I headed out for a girls trip to Utah this weekend. Her brother was getting married(it was a great wedding Uncle Dave and we love her!) We thought what a great excuse for a girls trip!!! So I ventured off again leaving all my kids home with daddy. That was the rule, NO KIDS. I left Thurs. night and picked Lacey up on the way. Sophie met us in Globe and we picked her up too. My mom was already in the valley. When we got there we called mom and Summer to meet us @ I-HOP cause none of us had eaten dinner. By the time we made it to Summers it was midnight. We got up early the next morning and headed off to Utah. Well we ended up in Las Vegas about 3 that day and decided to hit some thrift stores for fun. We ended finding alot and stayed till 7. So I said, "Why don't we just go eat @ a buffet and play at the theme park in Circus Circus. So we all got spruced up in the car and at an Arby's bathroom. Haha and headed to Circus Circus. After dinner we went to the circus acts and watched a guy on a unicycle. Then we had to wait 20 minutes for the next act. So we decided to see who could make the ugliest faces. You can decide who wins???? Haha After we watched the juggler perform, He came out from behind the stage and I yelled to him to come take a picture with us. He came over and said the unicycle guy wanted a picture with us too. So he said "Lets go BACKSTAGE to our dressing rooms to get him" we thought that would be fun!! So after pictures we went to ride all the rides. During this time we all called our husbands and told them where we were. My husband didn't believe me. and he said, "I thought you were going to Utah?" Haha so did we! Anyways Summers husband was scared we would never make it to Utah since we still had 5 more hours and it was midnight already. So he bought us a room @ Circus Circus. Thanks Justin!(We wouldn't have made it we were exhausted!)

This was on the drive home Sunday. We didn't go the Vegas way, didn't want to get side tracked again!

This was about 45 minutes out of Page. We all had to go to the bathroom SOOO bad but they wouldn't let us cause they were cleaning them. We decided to get these lollipops and bug the crap out of them by singing into them as loud as we could. They finally let us in. There were only 2 stalls so I went to the boys.

I ended up getting home @ 2:45am on Monday morning. I am still recovering and it is Wednesday!! We had a blast. I love my girls! Thanks to all our husbands for letting us go and watching all the kids!! Babe you did great getting them all ready for church, AND did I mention they were on time!! So you know what your job is EVERY Sunday right?

LABOR DAY

We decided to go riding for Labor day.We loaded all the bikes the night before and had our snacks and lunch ready to go, so we thought we were ready. Then we headed out Monday morning. It felt like everything kept going wrong that morning. (I don't know what everyone else calls it, but at our house we call it the sharts. I think Levi went through 4 pair of underwear that day, the dog fell out of the truck on the way, and Dusty really felt like someone was testing his patience when we were setting up the screen tent.) It was funny watching Dusty get pissed at that "Damn tent" Haha I thought he was going to start ripping it any second. But fortunately he didn't cause it came in real handy in between rides and for the babies. Nathan, Sam, and Kaylin came with us and so did Dusty's mom and brother.

This is Logan sitting on Kaylin and she just giggled the whole time!! Until he bit her. What a naughty baby huh Kaylin. Logan wants to know if you guys are still friends?

Sam and I even got a couple of Yahtzee games in. (Dusty took the picture and he said he especially liked the rooster tail I was sporting!)

Here are my crazy kids! Levi wasn't able to ride his dirt-bike cause it was too rocky for him. So this is how they rode pretty much ALL day.

Here is my HOT babe! I am so glad he's calmed down in the last 8 years. He used to do all kinds of crazy stuff on his bike, now he knows that he's got 4 other people counting on him. And he needs to go to work the next day.

I should have never got on with him! I should know better by now. (But it was kinda fun)

Oh GOOD Logan finally went to sleep. Oh he's awake again. That's how long his nap was.

But he sure had fun in the mud. What a Tuckfield boy!

"Raine" day

So my kids always love three day weekends, (so does their dad, he went hunting) but they feel like they need to be entertained the whole dang time. Saturday they woke up, got their chores done, got a shower, and then headed out to play. As soon as they got outside it started to rain. Levi, of course was pissed. So I told them to play some board games. They did for a couple of hours and it still was raining. I could tell they needed something else cause the fighting started. So this is what we came up with....................................

So they ended up having alot of fun and Logan couln't wait to taste them! They actually were really good. They are super easy too. They are chocolate butterscotch chip cookies. There are only 5 ingredients.

1 package Devils Food cake mix
1 large egg
3/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1 package butterscotch chips

Preheat oven to 350. With wooden spoon, stir together cake mix, egg, oil, and brown sugar. Stir in chips. Shape into balls. Bake for 10-11 min. Wah lah!!

Back to School @ the Tuckfields

So I promise I am not going to blog this much ALL the time. I just needed to get caught up and some of my kids aunties never got to see these pictures. So here they are. As we got closer to school starting and Levi going to school all day, I got more excited. That sounds mean but 3 has been hard for me, and now that I only have 1 home all day I feel like my life is back. And I can be organized again! Not to mention I am much nicer and fun mom cause I miss them when they are gone. Well I kept teasing Levi the whole time we were school shopping, telling him he needed to wear overalls to school cause he was just a little kindergartner!! He was getting so mad at me. Telling me how DUMB they were. It was so funny! I also kept asking him for days before school started if he was going to cry for his mommy. He just thought that was DUMB too. He couldn't be happier in school. And he definately could not wait to ride the bus. (Which I wasn't excited for but I figure what the heck let the kids ride the bus while they still think its cool.)Anyways I was asking Levi what outfit he wanted to wear for the first day and he said, "Definately the BAD BOYS." I said what are those? Well he went and got his black pair of DVS's and said these! It was hilarious. I made him call my mom and tell her what he was wearing and he told her, my BAD BOYS. He is such a funny kid. I do miss having him making me laugh during the day. I am sure his teacher gets plenty of laughing! Malarie was excited for school too. Which was so nice cause usually she just gets so nervous. She knew her teacher was good and she had 3 friends in the class. Loggie has had a blast with mom all to himself. He does miss bubba and sissy though. The picture of him is when he found his pockets the other day for the first time. I love that it is so cute. He is talking so much now too,( now that the kids are gone and can't say EVERYTHING for him.) And Halleluja for 16 months and actually sitting down and watching a movie!!!! His favorites are Elmo, Barney, and Wiggles. Yep all the dumb ones. Haha So till the next time, I'm out!

GIRLS BAHAMAS TRIP

This trip was a blast! Malarie and I got to go cruising to the Bahamas.It was Nationals at Sea for dance. Dusty even kept the boys for 10 days. He's the BEST daddy ever! I love you babe. We went 6 weeks ago but I couldn't figure out how to get the pictures posted. But after lots of help from my sis I think I have it. thanks summer

This was our Formal night on the ship. It was so fun to get all dressed up.

This was in our cabin on the ship. We were getting off to go to Key West.

This was on the air-boat when we went on a tour of the swamps. SO fun and loud. Kinda scary though, alligators can jump up to 3 feet. And there were lots.

This picture was in the Miami Airport. We had a blast, but we were so ready to be home.

Malarie performed a couple of her dances in Miami at the hotel before we set sail. These are her friends, Maycie and Rachel. They performed a ballet trio.

This is after we boarded the ship doing the "all important" drill.

Right after the drill we headed to the pool, it was so neat to be up on the top deck as we pulled away from the dock. Malarie loved to swim in the SALT water pool with her friends.

This was our first night on the ship after dinner. Just looking at this picture makes me sick. I was fine as long as I didn't look outside WHILE we were moving. Haha

This was our 1st port of call, Nassau. We had so much fun here. We got in a "limo" that took us to Atlantis. That place was really cool. Then we went shopping!!! That is always fun.

Eeww! I tried to act like I liked this but it was so gross and slimy! I totally had the heebie jeebies.

This day was so fun too. If you look Mals and I both have our snorkeling stuff on us. We just went snorkeling all day. We saw fish, turtles, and lots of seaweed.

As you can see we had a blast and we even came home with two 1st place all around trophies. Three 1st place golds, and one 2cd place gold!!!!! GO MALS. We really missed our boys though. Logan didn't even want me when I got home he just reached for Dusty and said, "Dada" it broke my heart but I guess thats what I get for leaving for so long. Haha
